Thank you so much for visiting our site. This website is to bridge the sites for both Doug Gurwell who is a composer, pianist, lyricist bassist, and trumpet player, and Yoshi Gurwell who is a ballet pianist.

We sometimes even have the occasion to play together on the gigs, such as small orchestras, our duo, with piano & trumpet, for weddings, parties, special events, dancing etc...

The name of this site came about because we both love scuba diving, especially in Hawaii, where we saw lots of fun dolphin couples playing in the ocean, so we took the name duodolphin from that.

僕たちは時々仕事で一緒に演奏することもあるんです。たとえば、それは、オーケストラだったり、僕たちのデュオ、ピアノとトランペットで、ウェディングやパーティー、特別なイベント、ボール・ルームでのダンスパーティーなどいろいろなところです。

さて、このサイトの名前の由来ですが、僕たちはスキューバ・ダイビングが大好きで特にハワイが好きで、よく見るんですよね、楽しそうに海で泳いでいるイルカのカップルを、そんなところからデュオ・ドルフィンになったんです。
